Are your perfumes original?
Yes. Every fragrance we sell is the genuine product from the house named on the bottle, supplied in its original factory-sealed box. We do not sell testers, decants, dupes or inspired-by versions.
What is the difference between EDT, EDP and Parfum?
The difference is the concentration of fragrance oil. Eau de Toilette (EDT) is usually 5–15% and sits lighter and fresher, lasting roughly 3–5 hours. Eau de Parfum (EDP) is usually 15–20%, richer and longer, typically 5–8 hours. Parfum or Extrait is 20–30% and can last well beyond 8 hours. A stronger concentration is not automatically better — an EDT can be the right choice for hot weather or the office.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days and usually arrive within 5–8 business days. Standard UK delivery is £4.99 and free on orders over £45. We currently ship within the United Kingdom only.
Can I return a perfume?
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. For hygiene reasons the bottle must be unopened and still in its original sealed packaging. UK customers also have a 14-day statutory right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Email us first and we will send return instructions.
How do I make a fragrance last longer?
Apply to clean skin straight after a shower, spray pulse points where the skin is warmer — wrists, neck, behind the ears, inner elbows — and do not rub the wrists together, which crushes the top notes. An unscented moisturiser applied first gives the oils something to hold on to, and a light spray on clothing or hair extends the trail.
How should I store perfume?
Keep bottles out of direct sunlight and away from heat and humidity. A drawer or a cupboard in a cool room is better than a bathroom shelf or a sunny windowsill. Stored well, a sealed bottle keeps for years.
What are top, heart and base notes?
Top notes are what you smell in the first few minutes — usually citrus, fruit or light spice. Heart notes appear as the top fades and carry the character of the fragrance, often florals or warm spice. Base notes are the foundation that stays on skin for hours: woods, amber, musk, vanilla and resins.
Which perfume should I choose as a gift?
If you do not know their taste, a warm vanilla or amber fragrance suits most people, and a boxed gift set gives them more than one thing to try. If you are still unsure, email us with anything you know about what they already wear and we will suggest two or three options.
