Armani's fragrance house spans two very different territories: the crisp Mediterranean minimalism of Acqua di Gio, and the sweet, warm modernity of the Stronger With You line.
Where to start
Acqua di Gio has been a benchmark since 1996 — marine, citrus and rosemary, and still the default recommendation for hot-climate wear. Stronger With You went the opposite direction: chestnut, vanilla and cardamom, sweet and instantly likeable, with Intensely, Absolutely and Sandalwood flankers each pushing it further. Si and My Way lead the women's range. Armani Privé — Rouge Malachite, Vert Malachite — is the house's niche line and worth exploring if you want something less familiar.
