Gucci Perfumes
Gucci's fragrance output has become considerably more interesting since Alessandro Michele's tenure — less safe, more character.
The standouts
Gucci Bloom is a genuinely unusual mainstream release: tuberose and jasmine with a green, almost vegetal quality that most houses would have sanded off. Flora Gorgeous Gardenia is the lighter, fruitier choice. Guilty Pour Homme covers aromatic everyday territory, while Guilty Absolute goes somewhere much darker — leather, patchouli and vetiver, one of the most uncompromising fragrances a designer house has released. Gucci Rush remains a cult favourite.
